We run classes and workshops 6 days a week at our shop. Whether you're looking to learn a new craft or advance your skills, or just hang out with a great group of people, we've got lots of options.

Events @ M1

We're building a community of knitters, crocheters, spinners and weavers here in Calgary. We offer ongoing events where you're invited to come in, grab a spot on the comfy couches, and join fellow fiber artists for an hour or two. More details can be found in our latest newsletter.

Unless otherwise noted, all of these events are free of charge, and most are drop-in - no need to RSVP or let us know you'll be joining us.

	Charity Knit Night Make One is hosting our first ever Charity Knit Night on Friday February 8 from 4-8pm. Michelle will have some suitable free patterns on hand. Bring your own yarn or yarn to share, if you have some. Don't have yarn you want to donate? We'll have a bit on hand at no charge. Anyone completing at least one small charity project on this night will receive a coupon for 30% off. No need to RSVP... just show up!
	Tuesday Knit Night Join our weekly stitch 'n bitch every Tuesday night from 6 - 9pm. Crocheters, spinners, and weavers are welcome too!
	Spin In Social Our first ever Saturday Spin In was so much fun, we've decided to do it every month. Come down to the store at noon on the 2nd Saturday of the month for an afternoon of spinning. Bring your own wheel or spindle, or let us know if you'll need to borrow equipment.
	Pub Night On the 3rd Saturday of each month from 5-9pm, we meet for some knitting, food, and drinks at the Kensington Pub. Everyone is welcome!
	Lace Divas Need some help with your latest lace project? Join Marilynn's hosted social group on Tuesday afternoons from 1-3pm at the store.
	Happy Toe Time If you're a sockaholic, you absolutely shouldn't miss our weekly sock knitting group on Wednesday afternoons from 1-3pm.
	TGIF Happy Hours Friday afternoons are full of fun at the store. Beginning at noon and lasting 'til close, it's a great time to kick back and get a head start on your weekend.
	We Knit Wee Knits Are you knitting for a little one? Come in on Saturday mornings at 10:30 and join Marilynn or Trish for this great knitalong.
